Drawing Activities

A: 1-Off Workshops: Time: 2 - 3 hours  //  These 3 workshops are 1-offs
 
  
Draw faces (ur own, from photos, each others) while listening to music: eg draw without taking your pencil off the paper, draw each other but not at the paper, the photo upside down etc

Community Theme Mural (on giant paper) Passers-by draw and write based on a theme on a giant paper eg: Happy Birthdays, International Human Rights Day etc)

B2: Scrap Paper Art Gallery  Especially popular for people who feel they can't draw 
Participants drew on scrap paper - bus tickets, back of envelops etc., which are then tacked up on the wall. I first did this for a restaurant's birthday event and even people who usually say 'I cant draw' joined in)

B3: Smallest Gallery in the Universe   Especially popular with children
Participants drew on very tiny paper ( an A4 photocopy paper folded into tiny shapes - rectangles, squares, triangles, circles etc. and every1 draws on them for an immediate gallery

B4: Thematic Gallery    Especially popular for people who love to draw
This gallery I often have side be side either the smallest gallery or Scrap Gallery especially for those who actaully love and want to draw.

Drawing Faces to Music
Draw faces ( from photos, each others', from your imagination) while listening to music: eg draw without taking your pencil off the paper, draw each other but not at the paper, draw the photo upside down etc. At the end there is a paper with tips  





Desenhe caras c/ música - um de outro / de fotos / de nossa imaginação. 
11 atividades: ex.: desenhar un de outro sem olha do papel, desenhe de fotos de cabeça para baixo, desenhe a cara sem tirar o lápis do papel etc. Cada actividade tem a sua objectivo paedigogic
Há também dicas com fotocopia sobre técnicas e proporções.


Eu trago tudo o material ( papel e lapis ) mas há posibilidade de internet para eu tocar música pelo you tube?

Desenhe Caras com Música - desenhe a cara de um/a da/o outra/o, a partir de fotos / a partir da nossa imaginação. São 11 actividades, ex.: Desenhar sem olhar para a folha, a partir de fotos de cabeça para baixo, sem tirar o lápis do papel, etc.  
Há dicas + fotocoṕia sobre técnicas e proporções.

Aberta de prinicipiantes até pros.

DRAWING
1-Off Workshops:  
- ‘Drawing Faces to Music’ Workshop: Draw faces: ur own, from photos, each others while listening to music: eg draw without taking your pencil off the paper, draw each other but not at the paper, the photo upside down etc
- ‘Drawing Human Figure to Music’ Workshop  nude / semi nude / fully clothed   Drawing Human Figure while listening to music: draw without taking your pencil off the paper, draw each other but not at the paper, the photo upside down etc
Urban Sketching:    Draw people, buildings, trees in cafés, on the train, in the park, in the street
Drop-Ins:  Temporary Thematic Murals (on giant paper) Participants draw + write on a giant paper on a theme eg: Happy Birthdays, International Human Rights Day etc)
Instant Art Galleries  a, Scrap Paper Gallery b, Smallest Gallery in the Universe c, Thematic Gallery   Participants draw on: a, scrap paper - bus tickets, back of envelops etc., // b, very small paper // c, A4 photocopy on a theme. The pictures r put up on the wall and make an instant art gallery. 

PAINTING
1-Off Workshops:  
Paint Attack  In 3s / 4s each group is given art equipment: paints, pens, brushes and a giant 1m x 1m50cm card. Now each group produces its work of art!

Paint Feelings to Music    Explore your emotions by discussion, music and painting. Share ur feelings on 10 emotions - unrequited love, relaxing on Friday nite, crisis etc., then paint those feelings on old newspaper while listening to a rousing Beethoven piece, Indian sitar music, be bop jazz, Tibetan wailing, Irish reels, African chanting etc.... Sounds crazy? Yes, it is! A whole lot of fun and even the occasional tear!
